Why should I invest in psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy is an investment in yourself and your quality of life. People choose to begin psychotherapy for many different reasons, all of them valid.

What is a session like?

A typical session might feel something like a very intimate chat with a close friend. Our focus will always be on you and I generally trust my clients to follow their own instincts about how they’d like to use their sessions. Of course I will also guide you in making connections, exploring patterns, and finding new solutions.

How long will I be in therapy?

Therapy can be a short or long-term journey, depending on your own needs and preferences. I have experience providing both brief and long-term therapy. Together we will work within your own needs and style preference.

Will you be able to help me?

It is always my intention to do my best to help my clients reach their personal goals in therapy. I routinely check in with my clients, verbally and with written feedback forms, to monitor their progress and sense of satisfaction. If for any reason you are not feeling satisfied with our work together, I would be happy to provide you with referral sources.
